CIRCLES

Christ Church Connection Groups

What is a Circle?

Circles at Christ Church are geographical and affinity based groups who gather together to grow spiritually, pray faithfully and serve compassionately together in order that they may increase their capacity to love God above all things and their neighbors as themselves.

Circles are one of the primary places where authentic community is experienced at Christ Church. Groups gather to share in the journey of faith. Moreover, these groups provide respite from the anxieties and pressures of life in New York City, as friendships are deepened and individuals strengthened in community.

Find the Circle That is
Right for You.

Starting this Fall, we will be offering a myriad of diverse offerings for greater connection with the Christ Church Community.

Join us monthly after the 11am service to talk parenting, have book studies, pray together, and enjoy times of fellowship and connection. Childcare is provided.

Join us for the Professionals Breakfast Circle—a gathering tailored for business professionals seeking Christian community, enriching discussions, and support amidst the hustle of New York City's dynamic business landscape. We will cater in savory and sweet breakfast items from some great NYC eateries along with coffee and drinks for your enjoyment!

The Movie Night Circle is a once a month social gathering to watch a movie and have a short discussion about the spiritual implications of the film. Sign Up Below.

This new circle in the life of Christ Church will meet virtually each month to create a virtual space for conversation, discernment, reflection, and prayer related to the perpetually-urgent work of dismantling racism in all of its forms. Facilitated by the Christ Church Staff and Lay Person Katherine Ellington on the 3rd Tuesday of every month

Join Seniors from the Christ Church community for a once a month fellowship on zoom. This group is designed for its members to share life with one another, care for each other in times of hardship, and just have fun.

Join us once a month for a circle dedicated to training God’s people to steward God’s creation for the flourishing of all creation and peoples in Christ. Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we want to see God glorified, Creation’s landscapes restored, and lives flourishing—the lives of all creatures, great and small.

The Wonder circle at CCNYC is a monthly opportunity including a meal and shared dialogue about spirituality in its different forms. What is spirituality? How do practices and traditions help form our spiritual life? How do we become more present to mystery and meaning? Each month, different participants will provide stories, prompts, and questions to springboard interesting and meaningful conversation so that we can wonder together about what spirituality means in our real lives.

Parents are invited to join a seven-week series of conversation and connection around nurturing our children’s faith at home. Each week we will join together on Zoom and discuss different ways we can incorporate our faith into our everyday lives with our kids and consider different forms of conversation centered around Biblical stories and topics. We look forward to welcoming you into the group.
