Join Christ Church NYC for our 2026 Blessing of the Animals Interfaith Service, a joyful celebration of all God’s creatures, great and small!

Bring your furry, feathered, finned, or otherwise beloved companions as Christian, Jewish, and Muslim clergy lead us in prayers of blessing and gratitude for the animals who enrich our lives. We’ll also offer a special opportunity to remember and give thanks for beloved pets who have passed away.

Stay after the service for a community reception featuring information about pet adoption, face painting, free pet portraits, and more. Local animal welfare organizations will also join us to share resources and ways to care for animals throughout our city.

All are welcome—animals and the humans who love them!
