Our LGBTQIA+ Ministry is excited to partner with the Temple Emanu-El Center for Interfaith Dialogue for Queering the Bible & Beyond: A Monthly Dialogue Group. From nuns who lived as monks to modern liberation theology, explore gender and sexuality within and beyond the Abrahamic traditions, learn the context behind (in)famous episodes from scripture and apocrypha, and hear historically muted voices from the past and present.
Queering the Bible & Beyond will begin on October 23 from 6:00 to 7:00pm and will meet the fourth Monday of (almost) every month with the location rotating between Temple Emanu-El (October 23, January 22, and May 20) and Christ Church (November 20, February 26, and June 24).
