This year, we’re delighted to welcome Rev. Mia McClain as our special guest. From stage to pulpit, Mia weaves together her passions for art, faith, and justice for the sake of life and liberation. A licensed Baptist minister and ordained in the United Church of Christ, she currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Riverside Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., where she is both the first African American and first woman to hold the role in the church’s history. Mia holds degrees from Union Theological Seminary, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and Syracuse University—and above all, she is a daughter, sister, friend, and proud dog mom to Harrison Claiborne McClain.
