Practicing Peace Day following worship on Sunday, May 31st at 1:00- 2:30 pm, on the 4th floor, for conversation, lunch and acts of peace.

Join Colleen Moore, director of Peace With Justice at the General Board of Church and Society, for a presentation and discussion on the ongoing crisis in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The presentation will focus on the history of the crisis, updates from on the ground, how Church and Society is responding with a focus on the UMC Social Principles and Resolutions, and what local churches are doing to make a difference. This event will be discussion-based, with the aim of having an open and respectful dialogue amongst participants on ways to promote justice and peace in the Holy Land.
