• Our agenda for the ILLUMINATE Fall Day Retreat will be as follows:

    10 am: Welcome & Refreshments
    10:30 am: Opening Worship
    11:30 am: Guest Panel about drag, self-expression, and spirituality
    12:30 pm: Lunch
    1:00 pm: Reflection & Response
    2:00 pm: Closing Ritual

  • The ILLUMINATE Fall Day Retreat will meet at Christ Church NYC (524 Park Ave.). You’ll be able to enter on the Park Ave. entrance and take the elevator or stairs down to Phillips Hall on the basement floor, a large gathering space that will be converted into a contemplative space for the retreat.

  • Along with moments in casual worship, open conversation, and hands-on reflection (thinks arts & crafts meet spirituality), we will have light refreshments (coffee, baked goods, fruit, desert) available throughout the day along with a lunch (with vegan and GF options). The suggested donation for the day is $35. (Payment instructions provided after registration.)

The ILLUMINATE Fall Day Retreat, sponsored by Christ Church NYC’s LGBTQIA+ Ministry & Marble Collegiate Church’s GIFTS: LGBTQ+ ministry, invites queer folk and allies to withdraw from normal rhythms and connect in celebration of queer spirituality.

With workshop, worship, and more moments themed around self-expression and self-exploration, participants will illuminate new ways in which they embody God’s image in their lives.
