Season of Giving
Give of your Time, Talent, & Treasure during this difficult time.
In our Season of Giving, we’re asking for two things this year:
An annual pledge in support of the entire Christ Church enterprise, & a year end outreach offering with a goal of $200,000 & 200 hours of service to be distributed in the first 100 days of 2021.
ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION
We are in an unprecedented moment where the needs of our city are challenging us to be bold in our love for our neighbors and ourselves.
During a pandemic that has separated us physically, we have been fortified as a community and together we can give back to the city and the church we love.
As we approach the end of this extraordinary year, Christ Church is embarking on a Season of Giving to help rebuild our city and sustain our faith community.
Through a weekly, monthly or annual donation to Christ Church in 2021, you will:
Support the outreach, spiritual education and music programs of Christ Church
Support our creative staff and the technology that has developed robust virtual programming and worship services that connect us six days a week.
Support the people keeping our building up and running even when we are not there.
Support the reopening of our renovated sanctuary and the re-visioning of our future.
END OF YEAR GIFT
Given that many of our neighbors are reeling from unemployment, homelessness and food insecurity, our Season of Giving includes a year-end outreach offering. This year, our goal over the next four weeks is to raise $200,000 and 200 volunteer hours for the most vulnerable neighbors that Christ Church serves. A blitz of our time, talent and treasure -- dispersed in the first 100 days of 2021 -- will:
Provide essential supplies, like food, diapers and wipes, to the babies of Nido de Esperanza, where most of our 70 families are out of work because of the pandemic.
Feed our neighbors through an expanded Sharing Table that gives out to-go meals and toiletries to the hungry and homeless.
Create community and combat loneliness for the elderly at the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Expand the range of our partnerships in responding to the crises of unemployment, homelessness and food insecurity.

Give of Your Time & Talent.
In out attempt to reach our goal of 200 service hours in early 2021, we want to provide our congregation with ways in which they can give back using their abilities and valuable time. Here are just a few ways that you can get involved.
Serve at our Non-Profit
Nido de Esperanza
Nido has in-person and virtual opportunities to serve young families in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City including, meal delivery, ESL training, food & clothing drives, etc.
Serve the Elderly at
Methodist Home
Our church partners with Methodist Home through the creation of virtual visitation events and online presentations. Give of your talents by being a part of one of these special offerings.
