Lenten Faith Forum

Lenten Sunday Morning Faith Forum (facilitated by our Senior Minister, Rev. Dr. Eric Park)
ENTERING THE PASSION OF JESUS: Seeing Lent Through the Lens of Holy Week

Join us for this conversational time of reflection in which we

  • examine the significance of the events of Holy Week and Jesus’ death on the cross

  • reflect on how those events might inform our experience of the Lenten Season

  • experience community with one another as we revisit Jesus journey to the cross

The companion resource for this Faith Forum will be a book entitled, “Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week,” written by a Jewish New Testament scholar by the name of Amy-Jill Levine. We will focus on the book’s first chapter, “Jerusalem: Risking Reputation” during session 1 of the Faith Forum on February 18. The book can be purchased through Amazon and other online outlets.

Join us for these Lenten conversations about the last events of Jesus’ earthly life and what those events reveal about the heart of God and the call of discipleship.
